Awesome work so far! Can’t wait to see what the final scene will look like.
For now Link isn’t standing out too much as the bg leaves have the same value as his clothes, I see you’ve put some rim lighting coming rom the left to pop him out, maybe emphasize this a little more as he is getting lost, unless you’re going to blur the bg, then It could work just fine. Curious to know how you made the tree trunk.

I wouldn’t mind the skin tone at this moment, you added some blushing which really makes him look alive, nice touch, Looking at the whole scene, the yellow tones help him blend in well. Maybe he’s a little too clean? He’s in a forest after all

Thank You, The big leaves that I am using them only to generate shade and not be in the final render, I modeled the tree used Subdivision Surface Modeling and displacement. I hope the final version will look like a forest

yepezzzz, Very nice character! I really like how you didn’t just model a japanese anime style character and gave him a more Western look. Very cool. I think once you get the UV’s sorted out (it’s kind of distracting right now) it’s going to look really great. One thing you might want to consider, if this just for a still image, I think you need to shape the fingers on the left hand more so that they are not so spread apart. Just push them together and fill them out a bit more so each finder is resting against the others more naturally. Right now it looks pretty awkward.
