Hey, i’ve got several different objects linked into the same scene, some of them colliders, and some of them cloth objects, how can i get them to bake physics together in the scene they are both linked into.

I cannot speak for 2.5x but in 2.49 you cannot do this. The baking of linked cloth ( or hair etc) does not create local baking caches but uses the location of the blend file from which the asset is linked. This just ruins your whole setup.
The solution is not to link them but to append them.
Maybe its now working with 2.5, but I haven’t tested it yet.
