Linking mesh deform problem

hello, i have a problem when linking object with mesh deform modifier. In original file my rig work well, but when i linked the group and make a proxy, my rig doesnt move the object

Linked groups with proxies is kinda buggy. So far as I can tell, it ONLY works with making a proxy of an armature… and even then, the meshes have to have armature modifiers, rather than just be parented to bones.
