Very nice. I like the hay roof on the haouse. Nice texturing and the painting feeling is nice touch.

reminds me of a chapel for some reason…maybe its the taller part in the front…good work! i really like the post-processing too!
This picture makes me think about the soothing ocean waves sound. I don’t know why though. I was going to crit about makind the hay roof less uniform but since it looks like a painting, I don’t think it would look good. Great job!

It looks damn nice, but I don’t much care for the canvas effect. My thought is that if you want to make something look like a painting,…paint it.
i think it looks very cool, u had me convinced it was a painting, i had to make sure i was in the finished projects forum, not the traditional one
The bright light, shadow, and the canvas texture make me think of Van Gogh.
Unfortunately the canvas filter makes some of the foreground details “muddy” or blurred for me (most noticibly the sandstone blocks in the corners and windows). Maybe it’s possible to “soften” the canvas texture on some of the details of the house?
I really like a lot of the stuff I’ve been seeing here the past few days, some of it really gets away from stereotypical CG/rendered themes-- very fresh and inspiring.

Oh, how lovely! 8) It become one of my most favourite images here. Don’t ask me why. Maybe for it’s purity and original style. And the mood in it… The GIMP postprocess is fine, realistic, doesn’t disturb…

Seems to me that the background pic doesn’t fit in with the rest of the picture. It doesn’t seem to have the overall great look and mood of the pic. Looks fantastic, though.

Everything looks too clean. Maybe add some cloud texture to simulate some dirt, etc. Also, there is nothing else in the scene. Maybe add some stuff around the house like boxes, plants, etc. to make it look more homely.
