Live Action Rigid Body Integration

A personal project I undertook to test out a possible workflow to integrate CGI into live action footage. Completed in under 4 days, and rendered with Cycles. Smoke was rendered with Internal.

Everything was done within Blender, except for the final composite/audio, which was done with After Effects CS6.

It doesnt look too realistic though, the ground isnt reacting like that. It`s a bit more complex. Your simulation looks like if the ground was made out of 100% solid concrete… kind of…
