Living Room ArchViz

Blender+Cycles
Its my first try with filmic blender and i really like it.
1200 samples, 1-2 hours with GTX 1080.
Hope you like it.

I’m not sure to have understood what blender filmic do but i like the results,jus a question,canoont reach the same target with post production?

Here is a good video about filmic blender : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tr9QhpVPBM
You cant do this in post.

It’s good that people finally start talking about filmic.

I smell something odd in those pictures but I’m not sure so I’ll make some questions:
Is this image straight from cycles?
Is the exterior an image added in post? (for example in photoshop or compositor)

Read this to know what it is in pills.

Just some color adjusments in post.
The exterior is not added in post.

Oh ok. I just keep having some strange feeling about the exterior but it’s not important.

I’d like to focus more on composition of the 2nd picture.
The point of interest where your composition drive my eyes is blurred by the DOF.
I think you haven’t given a meaning to the DOF.
Actually I don’t see the reason of the DOF since there is not a single subject to drive attention to.

Just as boring blah blah, DOF is an element of composition same as the light and… a chair put here instead of there.
These are just my 2 cents.

Nice clean minimal interiors.

@LazyVirus
i know its bad.

@Horizon
Thank you.

Not surprised.
As usual you know everything.

I think you got me wrong, I agree with you.

It looks almost photo-realistic. I dont know what is missing for 100% photorealism. I mean the light lokks nice
the textures and shader are rlly good. Maybe i miss the details in the furniture. But overall its damn good.

Thank you, yes i should rlly work on the details.

BTW i dont see the Problem with the DOF. I mean if u use a aperture of 5.6 on a normal camera u always have DOF.
