Incredible image: The lizard looks alive, plump and solid; and the sand detail is excellent, with small glitters in the grains giving it a truly realistic look; also, I love the way that his paws seem to be pressed into the sand, it gives the lizard mass. Excellent work!

Render time is about 1.5 hour, render setup and materials took about 4-5 days

You cant make an tutorial like this easy the lizard seems to be easy but in fact it is very hard to bouild stuff like that in Blender if you just started.
