Loading Fibre-o-matic and adjusting particle emitter

Hi guys,

Just found Ripstings Fibre-0-matic at the below link and was wondering how I activate it? I have extracted the files into 2.28 directory and think I have the dynoise.dll in the right place (I hope). I have never used the text window before. It mentions pressing Alt-P to use GUI then press create. I am a little confused on this.

On another note, I was wondering if it is possible to manipulate the particle emitter to produce a more water-coming-out-of-a-hose type of effect then my basic smoke effect.

Ok so you’ve extracted all the files into the 2.28 directory. Since you’re using 2.28, you’ll need to copy the dynoise.dll file from the 2.26+ directory and place it in the same folder as the 2.28 executable. Now load the example, put your cursor in the text window, and press Alt-P.

If nothing happens, look for an error message in the DOS console that opens up with Blender. Good luck!
