Hello. I have a weird issue in Blender’s wireframe viewport. I’m trying to rotate a cube from its “local” orientation axis but when I click the cube in the viewport the orientation is wrong… it is however correct if I select it in the outliner. Is this normal behavior for Blender?
Maybe this second video will help clarify it better. I just learned the issue of displaying the local orientation has something to do with dragging a box selection (which turns the object red) vs directly clicking on the object (which turns it orange). What does a “red” box mean?
Can anyone help explain why selecting an object with a box selection would not show the local orientation? You can do this in Maya. I’m missing something fundamental.
Thanks.
