Local wind

Is there any way I can apply a wind force field to one soft body and not another? I’ve only managed to get wind to work as a general field, which seems to apply equally to everything in the scene. I’d like the effect of blowing gunsmoke off the end of one gun at a time. I’m getting close except that the first puff blows both guns smoke.



Put the objects with the wind and particles on a seperate layer. In the header select only that layer and click the Lock-button on to isolate that layer. Now Shft-Select the other layers and animate.
