Due some problems with making a .exe (some textures doesn’t show up, and it’s slower), I wonder if there is anyway to lock a .blend file. What I mean is this:
I have some models, codes, textures and so on, but can I look it so that you can’t change the parts in the file.
If somebody knows how to do this, plz help. Becouse I think that this could help many blender users while they doesn’t loase any speed.
I dont loose speed when I create my runtime, at least i dont notice that slow down, you shure that you are not missing someting when you create the runtime, some setup?
@leonnn
Well, I do lose some speed, but it might depend on my slow computer:(. So I guessed that it would be the same with you, but maybe it isn’t. And I think that I have read it somewere (not sure thru, might remember wrong:o).
@Monster
Yes, something like that, but not that easy to crack. But it’s surely one step in the right direction. If there arn’t any other way, I think it’s better with this than a .exe file.
But still, it’s harder to crack a .exe file (I think).
Even if it’s a safer way or not, thank you for the help!

You might want to take a look at the BPPlayer. It also supports Blender 2.5 games now.
