Logitech G502

Hi everyone,

Following up on my previous post, here’s the other mouse from my daily setup.

Lately I’ve been enjoying studying smaller objects. Things that seem simple at first often reveal a lot of subtle surface transitions, proportions, and design decisions once you take a closer look.

This was a personal study focused on form, surface quality, and materials, based on the original Logitech G502 design.

Hope you like it.

If you had shown me the renderings like that,
I would have thought the mouse was a real thing.
Pretty well made :+1:

How did you model those triangular shapes on the side?

That’s not an easy surface to model, really impressive!

This is whatI I call a great work.
I love the white version.

Edit: how much time did you spend for modeling this?

Hard to give an exact number — I worked on it on and off over the past few months.

Thanks! Yeah, it took quite a bit of tweaking to get the surfaces to feel right.

Started from a height map actually — I first planned to keep it as a normal detail, but ended up converting it into geometry and refining it afterward.

Really glad to hear that — that was definitely the goal :slightly_smiling_face:

Nice mouse! Looks so realistic! You should use it in VFX, it would fit in real good.
