Great job. Excellent modeling and texturing.
Also, that’s a very nice high res concrete texture there. Could you post that as well?
Well done Godzilla Excellent work.
How long did you let that sit in Indigo? That’s REALLY highres for an unbiased render o.O
Not really…
It was almost perfectly noise-free after five hours, but I was going to bed anyways, so I left it on over night. Total render time was ~17 hours.
Wow. Was it somehow GPU accelerated or something? Are you running a quad core?
EDIT:
just saw that your comp specs are in your sig.
No it was all rendered on my CPU… Indigo doesn’t yet have GPU support (It’s expected within the next 6-9 months), and even if it did, I wouldn’t be able to render such an image using my graphics card because of the amount of VRAM it would use.
good detail. I can see the slight curve in the keys to.
too. clean.
add grime between the keys, and some of the keys will become more shiny after much typing
It’s a new keyboard.
Very nice! I’m getting to know Indigo little by little and like what i see.
2 things though :
Is the plastic material around the keys supposed to be so noisy? or is this attributed to render quality.
The image seems rather dark or underexposed currently. and regardless of what this image is for (commissioned or personal project) I think adding some back light to the keys that will escape out of the clear transparent perimeter shell will be super cool! don’t you?
Cheers
The letters seems to be to wide, streched.
See the resize. I think the letters are more normal here.
The area is meant to be noisy, although it is slightly stronger than reality… My mistake on the bump map value.
Yes that sounds like a great idea, I’ll try out a few renders.
@Bigbad
See image of real keyboard.
Impressive work. !!!

17-5=12, 12 hours sleeping, thats good. I envy you. lol
That’s one ugly keyboard keys :). What were they thinking.
It’s a new keyboard.[/quote]
ok.
Well I had been up for 24 hours, so… :o
Still looking and admiring your render Godzilla.
