Lollipop

Hi everyone,

I am working on various small scenes to practice with materials, lighting, etc. I was eating a tootsie pop the other day and thought I would try to model and texture a lollipop.

I would like some suggestions on how I can improve the scene/textures/shading. Still working on the overall image but this is what I have so far. I am not sure if I like the candy bag in the background, but I am working on other ideas too.

I think it looks pretty good, but the texture on the wrapper should be UV mapped on, and then crumpled. Also you could try putting some little air bubbles in the candy, and you can also make it cast a transparent shadow, by setting the recieving material to ‘trashad’ in materials.
