Is there Cycle trick that would allow to get an immediate visual feedback in view-port render for a densely scattered grass and similar things and adjust density on the fly in distribute points nod ? In a small crop maybe?
I mean something like you can do with Octane’s scatter on surface node? People say that Cycles could be same fast or even faster but I never figured it out.
Should I try Luxcore instead or it’s nothing to do with render and depends totally on distribute points node speed? That Octane scatter node shows no geometry in regular viewport at all , only at render. Perhaps it’s a true reason why it’s so quick and responsive to tweaks there?
