Hey everyone!
I’m working on a game as a solo developer and looking for a few 3D artists who’d like to join and help out. No budget, but I’m not trying to make a quick cash grab either — it’s a passion project, and it’s going to be free.
What’s the game about?
It’s a psychological thriller set in an American high school. You play as a girl from a poor family who wants to get into a top university. To do that, she needs to eliminate 9 rivals who are all competing for the same spot. She doesn’t kill — she manipulates, sets up, spreads rumors, and destroys reputations. It’s about choices, psychology, and consequences.
Style: Genshin Impact inspired — anime style with cel-shading, stylized visuals, colorful but with a darker atmosphere.
Engine: Godot.
What I already have:
-
Full story and game design
-
9 rivals with backstories
-
4 different endings
-
Some concept work (school references, character ideas)
What I need help with:
-
3D character models (main character, 9 rivals, and a few NPCs — about 40–50 total, mostly humans)
-
School environment (hallways, classrooms, locker room, exterior)
-
Props and assets to fill the world
What I can offer:
-
Credit in the game
-
A chance to build your portfolio with a real project
-
Creative input — you can influence the visual style and design
-
A friendly team atmosphere (no crunch, no stress)
Timeline: around 1–2 years. No rush, I’m working at a comfortable pace.
Budget: zero. I’m doing this entirely for free and planning to release the game for free as well.
About you: I’m looking for someone who understands stylized 3D (Genshin style), can work in a team, has some experience, and is just genuinely interested in making something cool together. Speed isn’t important — quality and communication are.
If you’re interested, send me a message with some examples of your work, and let’s talk.
