Looking for 3D Environment Modeler with UV Mapping Experience(Contract / Outsourced)

Company: We are a anime startup currently developing an anime series.

Position Details: We are looking for skilled 3D environment modelers with experience in UV mapping and the ability to collaborate with texture artists. While proficiency in hand-painted texturing is a plus (especially if inspired by Genshin Impact’s style), it is not a requirement as we have dedicated texture artists.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Blender for environment modeling
  • Experience in UV mapping and preparing models for texture artists
  • Familiarity with game environment modeling pipeline and game model UV mapping techniques
  • Experience collaborating with texture artists
  • Knowledge of hand-painted texturing is a bonus, specifically with a Genshin Impact texture style

The job involves creating immersive 3D environments for an anime series. You will be provided with reference images and are expected to deliver UV-mapped models ready for our texture artists to paint and optimize.

Employment Type: This position is open for both contract-based and outsourced remote work. Applicants can specify their preferred working style (contract-based or outsourced). The final decision on the engagement type will be made based on further discussion.
