We are a university research group doing machine learning for space applications. We are looking for a Blender artist to help generate and render realistic models of satellites, satellite components, and celestial bodies.
Experience in creating realistic (particularly reflective) components and ray tracing with Cycles is a must. Experience with python controllable animations (ex: unfolding solar panels) is highly desirable.
Experience with BSDF would be a bonus. Please provide samples that demonstrate these skills if available.
This is an ongoing project and can be paid hourly or per model/task.
