Hi. I’ve been working on projects involving ocean animations for a long time. So far, the best look I have achieved has been following this video:
But it requires baking and heavy files loaded as animations. Knowing the significant amount of node experts in Blender, I am curious how there aren’t any paid or free alternatives to an un-tileable ocean shader that simulates via displacement animated vast ocean in high realism.
I noticed how many videos are on youtube about oceans in Blender and still did not find any alternative to doing it with shaders. I am almost sure achieving a hyper-realistic sea with shaders is possible.
I want to clarify I am not complaining. Still, I am asking if anybody in the community can point towards a link, paid or unpaid, of shader-based oceans for Cycles that simulates the subject realistically.
Thank you!
