Hi I am looking for someone who could use my vfx skills. I have only been using blender for maybe 3 years, and I really enjoy doing vfx. I am mostly looking for experience, but if there is anyone out there who can benefit from my (apart from me) thats a good thing. My short Film is a supernatural horror-thriller set in 1930s Southern Texas, following three protagonists Elijah, Langston, and Lucky as they battle a dark entity haunting a town. The film requires dynamic VFX to bring its action and supernatural elements to life. Elijah’s combat scenes involve lightning-infused sword strikes and surging electricity from his body. Langston and Lucky wield custom weapons forged to kill supernatural beings, each with its own unique effects. The Entity, the film’s primary antagonist, teleports in and out of scenes like Nightcrawler from X-Men, and can mimic both skin and weapons, making every encounter unpredictable. The VFX artist plays a crucial role in shaping the visual language of the film translating these powers, movements, and transformations into visceral, cinematic moments that anchor the supernatural realism of my film.
Sounds good. Just mind a few things, I am only fourteen, also a probably will have to talk to my mother about this, and I won’t be able to do anything for about 2 weeks. Is there a time limit, and can you provide me with some references. One more thing, I am only looking to do camera tracking comping the effect like lighting and fire smoke etc, and maybe some animation, but I am not experienced in actually making models.
