Looking for Advice to Improve Volumetrics and Lighting

Hi,

I’m just starting to learn about volumetric and thought this would be an easy task… I should have known better. Anyway, I was trying to use some KitBash 3D models and create a foggy cityscape. Below is an example of what I was hoping to achieve and my actual render (I know it’s bad : )

[This was my reference]

[This is my render in Eevee]

I set up a simple volume node on a box that contains the city and a massive light on the horizon. I’m currently trying to render this in Eevee.

I know my render is very amateur, I’m just not really sure where to go from here. Can anyone offer me any advice on what I can do to improve this and achieve something closer to my reference?

Thanks,
Ash

Try increasing the density and experiment with values between 0.03 and 0.08, also increase the light intensity massively and make sure it’s either a point light or a spotlight.
