I’m wondering if there are any tutorials to make an ice crack animation? I’ve seen ones to make an ice crack material or to make it shatter, but I’m looking to make an animation of an object hitting the ice and then a crack appearing?
Closest I found was from over 10 years ago, so seeing if anyone knows of a more up to date one?
Hi, depending on your needs (shape of the crack, visual style) I would consider doing this in the material. The ice cracks, but doesn’t come off? I would probably paint the crack and just fade it in.
