Looking For: Blender File Browser add on to see Materials

I guess the closest addon I found was Blender Library (look for Blender Library in that page). But it’s only good for Blender 2.4 :frowning:

open your material library blend, File > Data Previews > Refresh Datablocks Previews, (you may have to wait a bit), save the file.

When appending materials from that file, set the view to icon in the file browser and the materials will appear as the image you posted.

No addon needed. :wink:
