This is the first time I’ve ever posted something I’ve done looking for feedback. Does anyone have any critiques they’d like to give? In that I’m kind of new to all of this, if you have a critique would you mind also giving a suggestion of how to fix the issue?
From this picture, I would say what you have is good. The modeling and texture are great. What you do next will depend on what you are trying to achieve. If you are going for realism, I would texture the roughness channel, adding subtle imperfections, maybe using a seamless texture.
As a bonus, here is an easy way to add even, seamless textures to an object. It’s called box projection, is completely seamless and doesn’t even need UVs (but it only works on objects that won’t need to deform in an animation).
Other than this, you could improve the image by trying different camera angles and different lighting setups. Maybe search for some lighting and image composition tutorials. Then, if you really want to go even beyond that, you could imagine what kind of scenery would surround the cans and make them the focus of a simple scene, though that all depends how much you care about this one project.
