I understand the basics of how to add text objects in blender. I’ve searched for more detailed tutorials, but haven’t found any. I’m looking for details on how the modifiers work, why beveling sometimes looks bad etc.
For instance, I added a curve modifier to a text object, and I see that it is modified, but it certainly did not follow the curve as I expect. That’s they type of thing I’m looking for an explanation for. I don’t have a specific question at this point, I’m just trying to learn all the options I have for manipulating text.
Does anyone have any pointers to tutorials that would help?

I watched a video or making the blender logo and it showed a lot of work for making the text area from fonts. With extruding and beveling. But Im not sure of the link right now.
