Can not seem to find any on YT. Even timelapses are mostly done either in Quixel or Substance, or people are using textures from internet.
So far found only paid 2 courses for Blender Human - CG Cookie(which I own), and Blender Creature Effects Tutorial(wolf, texturing section) - VFX Grace, both on blendermarket
I’m looking for realistic texturing process from “scratch”.
I know, I know, hand painting in Blender is lacking, would love to get couple of different takes and tips&tricks from different people.
Idealy it would be something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkP-xHYEXrI&t= but texturing is done in Substance
edit: for internet folks here is what I found so far about texturing in Blender:
Procedural Materials - Creative Shrimp (paid) - amazing procedural texturing, it tackles brick wall with moss, tho at first it sets up brick pattern with vectors and all that magic, not ideal for characters/creatures
Human - CGCookie (paid) - really awesome course for realistic portraits, from sculpting face, basic hoodie and texturing/rendering in Blender
Blender Creature Effects Tutorial(wolf, texturing section) - VFX Grace (paid) - don’t have it, don’t know how it is
Ucupaint addon(free addon) - amazing tool, didn’t play around it very much but it adds plenty of options with very easy to use menu
Speedchar Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/SpeedChar - also Speedcharlive his second YT channel and his artstation courses - paid courses on rather cheaper side of things, even tho he specializes in speedsculpting, he shows how simple texture painting can still give nice looking results, wanted to mention him since he has bunch of free videos on face anatomy and also one playlist of whole process of making 3d character model for game done in 99% in Blender
