So I am really trying to find a way to texture like this
Now Batman Ninja & Onimusha despite looking like a 2D animation are not really 2D. They just used 2D model & textured it with some hybrid on Hand painted texturing & Toon shaders.
Now the textures for Borderlands have always been a mystery to me. Just trying to come up with standalone assets with textures like this which can be plug & play to other packages as well without any Shader dependency. So baking them is an importance as well.
Is there any way to texture like this? Is it really only hand painted texturing? Is there any way to achieve that toon shader vibe through substance painter or designer? Ma
