Looky, real time caustics mapping being developed (link inside)

Caustics in real time, considering that render realism could jump a bit with caustics, it would be nice if Brecht or Broken could look at this method.:wink:

blender already had this functionality, but it didn’t get into svn if I remember.

That looks very nice. There are papers for it at the bottom of this page (some very nice images in there, as well).

From the link this is far more then the patch that was submitted, Brecht is probably busy, but we know Broken and Zaghaghi knows the render code.
