low frequenzy noise in blender GUI

i recently discovered that blender has a low frequenze noise.

i took a screen capture and realized that after using levels in photoshop that the
gray background is not solid gray but has a noise to it.

is that an issue of my ati card in my intel macbook pro or is that how
blender uses open gl???

its not supposed to be solid gray, because for some reason blender uses 3d(fake 3d i should clarify) for their gui, so think of the gui panels as rendered with ao because the shadows seem to imitate it.

Nick_Meister: That’s not the case at all. I wouldn’t state things like that as fact if you’re not fully informed.

Cekhunen: It’s odd, sounds to me like it could be a driver issue. A screenshot would be very interesting to see what and where that is!
