ell. if you have photoshop or gimp u probably know how to make the back ground yellow, and u probably also know how to make the white and black squares. but for the window-textures i usually go to ebay. that´s right ebay. like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-Crown-Victoria-POLICE-PKG-POLICE-INTERCEPTOR-1-OWNER-FLEET-SERVICED-TAXI-COP-CAR_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6227QQihZ001QQitemZ110209494686QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
wow, thanks! never thought of that before ;D
as they say: ebay has everything
yeah, it does.
btw, how do i actully come about to put the decals on the windows? and the ones on the side?
ok, lets say i wanted to model this:

do i need subsurf? because i ALWAYS seem to have bad luck at making cars. they turn out with black spots everywhere and the mirror thingy never works, and its a mess. but, i’d like help to make something like that
For a low-poly car (probably directed at the game engine) you would only want a maximum of a 1 lvl subsurf (you would hit “apply” when you were done modeling). Although I’m not certain what “black spots” you’re talking about, assuming that you are talking about the normals problems when using “set smooth”, in edit mode select all the verticies, and then hit CTRL + N to recalculate the normals, and this should fix the “black spots”.If you use the subsurf, I would avoid triangles as much as possible - I’ve had bad results with subsurfed triangles.

yep, those are what I was talking about.
