I’ve only used spheres for eyes before but that might be a bit high poly for games, so I was just wondering what the techniques for low poly eyes are?
how about doing them like suzanne. just the fronts. or you could use textures.
Also, when you add the spheres you can set the number of divisions to a lower number. In 2.5 a panel appears in the lower left which gives you those options. There is a keyboard shortcut too that also works in 2.49, but I am not sure what it is.
I really like the idea of doing it like Suzzane, that would work out for making anime type characters with really big eyes as well. And I could probably just use animated textures for the pupils right?
