Low-Poly Hair Texture Help

I found this character on the net and i noticed the hair is nothing but planes with textures. I tried making the texture transparent but this is what I got. I want the textures to be transparent but so the other objects that are behind it visible. Any tips?


Could you give us a .blend?

Also, is the picture you provided a BI render or a GE screenshot? Because that might have something to do with it.

There are many tutorials here. Any of the first three should tell you how to use alpha maps in the game engine.
