823 polygons. (mostly quads) It’s ready for texturing after some minor tweaking. I’m going to try to animate it with the game “monster hunter” in my mind. Giving it attacks and little movements as a set of actions. (not making a game).
you have to upload your image to a host for it to work. try http://www.mediafire.com, no sign up needed
i can see it fine. It’s on photobucket.com. That DOCUMENTS/ crap was an accident. sorry.:spin:
Looking good!
I’d suggest creating some sort of eye socket. The kind you see in most lizards prominently.

Not the eye itself that can be faked with textures but more of the curve/bump where the skeleton goes above the eye.
Cant wait to see it animated.
the socket points forward like a mammal on this HIPPOgator. I modeled them real fast. I want them different than an alligator’s or hippo’s. Artistic license.

it would be useful to see wires, in the case of very low-poly models it’s generally a better way to get decent crits. But it looks good to me. The spikes running down the sides COULD be done with fewer polies than this (like a few flat quads with a spike texture rather than a bunch of individual spikes) but then you’d have to include an alpha-map if you were planning on actually using it in a game. Your method would probably be better if you really needed sharp edges on them, so go with what you got
Looks good to me. Texture it
idk if its the light or what but the spikes r really ugly…

perspective wire

nice nice! cant wait to see the finished thing!
Started drawing the textures. I’ve never textured anything before, and it’s really tedious…
