low polygon cartoony male character

hi, I’m building this low polygon male character and would like some feedback

you might tell from the wireframe that there are no polygons for facial features, 'cos I plan to add cartoony eyes and mouth by texture

let me know if there’s anything i can improve on the model

things to do: rig, model hair and some clothes

No obvious problems that I can see, maybe join triangles in a few spots, but it looks lke a nice mesh.

thanks for the complement, here are a few screenshots rendered in ogre3d with hair and cartoony face.

i wonder if anyone know of any good tutorials on texturing skin? kinda putting it off until i learn how to do it properly.

maybe texture tutorials about using toon shaders?
