Löwchen (Kid's Cartoon Lion) Really First Design

Hi, I’m Maria and I’m 15, and that’s my very, very first design using Blender (it’s a difficult Programm :wink: ).
It’s a Lion Baby using basic tools in Blender. I want to learn how to do hair, cause it looks a little bit strange now, but I think it’s not bad (OK, if you look at the other proffesional designs, it’s VERY bad :wink: ):

Hi,

I assume you only used the basic objects in Blender, and scaled and moved it. If you want to make it more smooth, you should ‘model’ it by extruding and such things. If you don’t know how to use it, take a look at this: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro
This helped me a lot, and I hope you will too.
If you want to create hair, you have to use particles, look at this: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Furry

Blender isn’t that hard, but in the beginning it’s hard to find everything you need. But later you’ll learn the interface is very intuitive.
