hi every one
yesterday
8/10/08
i got luxrender and i have no idea how it works.
i brought one of my cars and decided to have a render of it
but it crashed as soon as it came up.
it worked when there was just the default cube and simple stuff.
I don’t know much about Luxrender, only got it recently, but there’s an awesome render of an old mercedes in the gallery done in Lux so it’s definitely capable.
Lux needs you to define all the materials manually in the export window. The Lux wiki is at http://www.luxrender.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page, you can fin out about all the different lights and materials there. Sorry I can’t help more.
I’ll try and render my S7 in LuxRender, then I can help.
It’s not meant to do that, but considering the complexity of the model I’d check if you’re running out of memory. However, I’d suggest to post the question at the LuxRender forum as there will be more people who can help you there.
thanks
but some reason it does not work with my ferrari + my memory was upgraded
2 months ago for a much stronger one.
iv also been using indigo which works.
It will save automatically to a directory specified in the installation. Im not sure where that will be on your computer, just do a search for a Luxrender folder.
