Guess everyone knows Patek Philippe watches/clocks. But did you know Patek was a Polish man? Antoni Patek fought in the 1830 uprising and, after it was lost, was an active member of so called Wielka Emigracja (The Great Emigration) that included Polish greats. Patek was given the gold Virtuti Militari cross for the uprising and pope Pius IX made him a count. Yes, Poland means luxury as well.
