M.I.H.R.P. Documentation Short.

well i think it’s now time to put the A132 robot to use in an animated short

i kept trying to come up with a small storyline similar to a small trailer or documentary video of the Mentel Scientific Industries Humanoid Robotics Project.
ive already got an idea: an example of all of the Emotive Processors in A132.
these are responsible for emotions such as happiness, anger, sadness, surprise, frustration, and, of course, love.

now for the first thing i post is the IR3 processor (the processor responsible for the last emotion: love)

this really only gets a small part (being taken out of a container).

and finally the star of the show:

ill post more soon. if anyone has suggestions or so, present them here

I’m a fan of your modeling here, I’m just not sure that the materials quite fit the model. The bright colors give it a somewhat cartoonish quality, and there’s something about the specularity that takes away from the realism. You might also consider some reflective metal bits in-between the joints and such. I also looked up some images on what the Japanese are up to with their human-like robotics. You might be able to draw some material inspiration from there. Here the link.

I think it’s a very interesting project, and I can’t wait to see more!

I’m not going for realism. I am going for the cartoony style as of preference.
Of course I may change some materials because they look a little strange.
But I’m going for the cartoon stylization.
