I wish the upgrades, particularly as they relate to more RAM and Storage, weren’t so absurdly priced.
A $400 upcharge for what amounts to 32Gb more of RAM just feels insane even factoring in the Apple premium tax.
EDIT: Technically $400 for 32Gb of high performance/high clock DDR5 isn’t horrible (although the highest comparable price I can find on Amazon is $290). however $400 for 16Gb is what gets me which is what Apple charges to go from the 8Gb base M2 to the 24Gb or the 16Gb base 14" Mac Book Pro to the 32Gb. WTF Apple?!?
It plays fine for me. Check to see if it’s a regional restriction for you.
Side note from the video: Still love that Apple is one of the few companies still only using the proper phrase of “Machine Learning” and not using the incorrect but very consumer buzz worthy “A.I.” phrase with everything and anything that has code in it, like most others.

You are joking right? Sure the M2 isn’t a big improvement over the M1, but it does increase the maximum RAM size significantly and the GPU performance is a lot better.
Compare that to Intel who have been promising a feature size reduction for years and years.
Just a default, possibly because while the web code can identify what OS your browser is running, it might not be able to identify what specific machine you’re running, so it just defaults to Intel.
Well, for that Blender would have to be built on Metal 3 and require Ventura, plus some re-factoring on the Blender side would be needed to take advantage of the features of Metal 3. Ventura isn’t even out yet, so you’d have to wait a while before it’s even possible.
But mainly meant that M2 seems to still have no hardware RT acceleration
and maybe still bottlenecks for not fully (tediously) optimized Apps,
although they may be already made Apple ARM native.
And therefore still bad scaling of higher M1 Max or Ultra Models - even with M2 (?)
