Here goes I have and Love my IMac but, my 10.11.6 is completely upgraded and I still can’t work with Blender 2.8 so I’m thinking since the interface changed a little from Blender 2.79-2.8 and that Mac’s interface is different from that of a PC I’m thinking learn both at the same time. The question remains do I buy the new base model 2020 IMac or do I switch to PC for more performance: Answer:Yes but what do I buy for a PC for the same amount as the base IMac model ($1,799.00). I know I want a very large Screen and I’m not sure I want and all-in-one or if I want a tower. Ultimately I want faster render speeds my average on most of my work is about 4-6minutes per image. I really love my IMac and I understand I could get maybe a 2017 model and it would last me at least 5 years but I get lost with all the hardware I never learned anything about building a computer so any help would be appreciated. My ultimate goal is to become very efficient using Blender 2.8-2.9…but not take 63 hours to render a short 30-second video that is very basic (stop laughing) that should probably only take no more than 3-hours.
