I’ve had a minor annoyance with pie menus for awhile now. Is there a way to keep a pie menu open to edit multiple settings before it closing? Would love to be able to keep the Shading menu open for example, without having to open it multiple times for each setting I want changed.
This is Blender behavior I have no control over. I’m thinking of supporting a way to pop out the more detailed parts of various pies in future into a panel, which would allow to keep open as long as the mouse is over it.
Hi, i am having trouble understanding the make lokal function. I got deus ex and ticked the asset tools. in the video it’s shown when using the modes pie (tab, right ?) its there is a make lokal choice. when i do it it just shows xray toggle etc. i have to say the collection is not an asset. its just a collection linked normally via blenders link menue. i just started looking into assets, so please excuse my ignorance
I just tried blenders object/make local and it did not make the mesh local. i had to do object/make instances real. as i said sorry i just started trying to figure out blenders linking and assets. its probably a blender problem.
Yeah, I recently started using an addon called Better Pie Menus to supplement M3t and it uses pop out panels for some things like advanced shading.
I prefer your shading menu functions though, especially the presets (awesome of you to add bloom to the presets by the way). Was hoping there was a way to get the best of both worlds. Hope you do add some pop out panels in the future.
Blender should just keep a pie menu open as long you have the key pressed, even after clicking a button. Seems like it would be a better solution than the current functionality at least.
