Made a Site

Made a hobby website for the fun of it as well as to try out Joomla.

Used a template called “Joomla Plates” to make the site. What do you think? :stuck_out_tongue:
I’m not really an expert in terms of site creation, in fact I hardly know anything aside very basic html.

I think they are going to authenticate it before giving gereral public access. I get this message :

“You see this page, because the system administrator of 000webhost.com is currently checking this website for malicious content. This redirect will be removed once we will finish manually checking all files on this account. As far we check over 100 websites, it can take about 2-4 hours to complete. If you are the owner of this website, you will get email confirmation once it’s done. If you are a visitor - please come back later.”

they probably check out new sites for malicious content and porn. I know my host does, takes about 30 minuets for people to be able to see my content :frowning:

It hasn’t done that before!

Right when I post this thread too. :frowning:

For you everything will seem like it is working, but for the rest of the world they have to wait a few minuets is all.

When testing your site, try clearing your DNS first, and log in with a different browser like opera, or Kmeleon .
To clear your DNS, it is really simple…
Windows:

  1. Press windows Key and R to open the run program dialog
  2. Type in CMD and press enter, to open the dos shell.
  3. type “ipconfig /flushdns” without the quote symbols ("")

Linux:
1.type" /etc/rc.d/init.d/nscd restart" in your terminal
2.If you use SUDO (like ubuntu does) just do this instead : “sudo /etc/init.d/nscd restart”

Macintosh

  1. “sudo dscacheutil -flushcache” for lepord
  2. “lookupd -flushcache” for tiger

For some reason with my website, i will get everything working in firefox, and I try a different browser, and it lets me know it has not been updated yet.

It’s showing the same page, I know it isn’t working.
I have the template on my old account still if you want to at least see the layout. :stuck_out_tongue:
