ACK! http://www-users.cs.umn.edu/~mein/blender/plugins/sequence/stereogram/index.html How does it work? I can’t get the .dll to load as a plugin! I’m trying to make a magic eye, thing , one of those cross eye’d pics, but I can’t load the plugin, and I don’t know how to make a 3ds file from a .blend… and I can’t get this stuff to work!
either
how does the site .dll work?
or
how do I make a 3ds out of a .blend?

You have to use 2.23 - all the later ones don’t pass the zbuffer to the plugin - which is what it uses to make the picture
I put instructions on how to use it into the readme, but it assumes you know how to use the sequence editor

I’ll read the readme, and see what I can do

Don’t burn your head with format conversions just for making that. Render your image as usual, load it in Gimp and use this:
http://manual.gimp.org/manual/GUM/Plugin_misc.html#451560
Note: The Gimp that came included in my Linux Distro (Red Hat 9) didn’t came whit that filter installed :x
