I’ve been working on this for about a day. I just randomly had the idea of having a deck of playing cards flying out of a hat and came up with this. One of my few renders that I am proud of, but I feel it could be better.
Any critiques would be greatly appreciated.
Very nice. Does the Queen have the letter “D” instead of a “Q”? I think you should round the card corners. They are too sharp. The queen falling into the hat is a mirror image of the queen in the background and the backwards “D” just seems to stand out.
@Kranky Thanks for the advice. I kept telling myself I would fix the queen card texture but I forgot. I’ll also work on on rounding the card corners.
Here’s the latest update. Fixed the cards slightly. Since this thread seems silent, I’m calling it a finished render and moving on to another project.
the only thing i dont like is that the cards by the base of the wand seem to be one solid brick… is that just me?
