Make object shining

Hi all, Does anyone know how to make an or many object shining ( not glow ) during animation like diamond or water in the sun or like the halo line in the material editor

I’m not quite sure exactly what you mean, but couldn’t this be achieved by increasing the specularity or something.

Use a halo material. Adda a plane and delete all but one of the verts. You can’t animate that awesome spin that you usually see as you pass a streetlight at night, but you can animate the halo size color and alpha. If you want it to spin you’ll have to render it, and reimport it as a texture mapped to a plane and am
imate the plane to spin while parrented to the mesh of your choice. The attached image is a single vertex with hali lines and star applied.
