Make particle group (collection) react to the original object´s physics properties. Blender 2.90

Hello! First post here.
There´s one question I have and can´t seem to find the right answer to it:
Suppose I import a pair of shoes into a scene, apply a rigid body physics to them (active), switch scene atmosphere value to positive and whoosh, the shoes fly out into the deep sky!
Now I place them into a collection and apply them onto a surface as (hair) particles so there´s hundreds of them flying into the sky. Well, that doesn´t happen. They just stand there still.
Any advice would be welcome.
