im trying to make modular enviroment for my game but i have a hard time modelling the “hub” of the tunnel

i do that with boolean but its very messy, any ideas ?
just use the pipe addons
and add a cross section for pipes then cut in 2 and extrude

Model it by hand is the easiest way i guess, as long as you keep the poly count of the pipes consistent:
- add a pipe
- add a plane and use it to cut the pipe by a 45° angle
- repeat step 2 and delete everything except the selected part in my image
- duplicate and rotate that part 3 times by 90°
- I added edge loops to get harder edges after adding smooth shading

Yeah. It’s just a case of enabling the “extra” mesh addon. Slap down a cross joint, edit and simply use Ctrl-r to cut in the loops needed to tighten up the geometry. Very quick.
