Make straight lines natural


I’m wondering how to make straight lines looks less straight as it should be in real world.

Of course I will add details to the scene but the corners and windows opening should remain as it is.

Naturally I will subdive one straight line, random select, move with proportional editing on random but I doubt this is the best solution.

How would you do ?

Why not, but how to apply that only on edges and not surfaces ? Dividing only the edges of the whole room could be very long…

Use a bevel or a Bevel Modifier to break the unnatural sharpness of edges…you can even set your own profile… and use a grunge map as roughness as @Okidoki said to add a used/lived-in look…
