Make the background hold still!

I’m having trouble keeping a background at the same place. I’ve applied a image-texture to the world. The problem is, if i move or rotate the camera, the background moves too!
Look at this to see what i mean:
How can i make it hold still?

I don’t know what your problem is. The example you posted only shows the cube moving. The BG seems pretty still to me.

But, have you tried making the world REAL instead of BLEND? That may help you.


The fact that only the cube moves was the problem! What I did was move the camera down to up, making it look like the cube rotated.

There are two things to do. First, I believe you could push the “real” button in the world, but you’d have to mess with settings to make it look right. Personally, I would just put a cylinder around however much of your field of view as you need, and map the image to it. Then set the material as shadeless, so that the color remains exactly like the picture. Hope this helps. If not, let me know, and I’ll give you more details.
