make two objects one

I want two meshes to become one (for exporting and position issues). How can that be achived?

Thx. // Petter N

it’s called Parenting …you select the two meshes, press Ctrl+P and “parent” them together :]

Shft-RMB select the meshes to be joined and hit Ctrl-J.

Sehr Gut!

I have to do that to export my meshes into my own screensaver format you know

sooo… parenting them wouldn’t work?

…i’m going to stop answering to questions for a few months …untill i really get the hang out of it :frowning:

They’re two different options (too much to explain and you can read the docs) but parenting doesn’t make two meshes a single mesh… it makes one the parent and the other the child. Joining doesn’t either, strictly speaking, but it comes with less problems down the line if you aim to animate.
